4. What is the Adult - Child ratio at FirstCry Intellitots Preschool?

We have a healthy 1:8 adult child ratio and if the no. of kids increases to approximately 12 then adult child ratio of 2:12 comes in to existence, which means for every 12 kids there is one teacher and one support staff.

Welcome to the Firstcry Intellitots Newsletter. With the onset of the New Year, our Oi’ites have also taken up new milestones to master. Most of them are busy prepping up for their BIG DAY – Little Stars Day! Stay tuned to catch glimpses of our little stars…

This month, Oi’ites celebrated Republic Day in full patriotic spirit. Children performed on songs “Ham honge kamyab” and “Saare jahan se acha”. They participated in flag hoisting and enjoyed the sweets that were distributed.

Republic Day at Firstcry Intellitots Preschool, Botanical Garden was celebrated with the theme of National Girl Child Day. Children were addressed and explained the importance of respecting their mother, sister, friend and teacher.

Oi Miyapur on the other end went to the orphanage and old-age home and celebrated Republic Day with the residents.

Don’t know if I should be proud with my keen little observer Arihaan or horrified for what he thinks ‘humanitarian’ means. Having colour theme days is a great way to introduce and reinforce the colours to children. Thinking of some things that are white, some of our preschoolers prompted with answers – milk, egg, teeth, doctor’s coat and so much more than they come across in their daily lives. Children enjoyed so much that they even named what colour day they want next.

Puppets and more puppets..

Puppet Pals are the best pals for children. It’s pretty much a given that children love to listen to stories, especially when there are visual cues to convey out the story. Some ofFirstcry Intellitots Preschool centres presented a fun extension to children with their hand puppets show. The show was a complete entertainment, packed with lots of comedy and laughs.

Centres ofFirstcry Intellitots conducted storytelling and kinder theatre activities to empower their students with public speaking skills. Children exhibited a lot of confidence and their stories took us on a tour to a magical world.

Exploring the aquatic treasure

A visit to the Aquarium is our children’s expedition to discover the aquatic treasures.Firstcry Intellitots’ites had a visit to the aquarium and were awed with their beautiful colours and patterns.

Kite flying Joy!

Festivals are a great time to get together!Firstcry Intellitots’ites celebrated the major harvest in the most traditional way. Dressed up in ethnics; playing Lohri, participating in the preparation of Pongal, decorating Rangoli and finally decorating and flying kites was much enjoyed.
