4. What is the Adult - Child ratio at FirstCry Intellitots Preschool?

We have a healthy 1:8 adult child ratio and if the no. of kids increases to approximately 12 then adult child ratio of 2:12 comes in to existence, which means for every 12 kids there is one teacher and one support staff.

Dear Parents,

Welcome to the Firstcry Intellitots Newsletter! This month was all about monsoon showers & experiencing farm fun.

The Firstcry Intellitots Farm Party was a tremendous hit among our little ones. All our centres were open for all young ones to get hands-on experience of a farm. Milking the cow, pony rides, feeding the cattle, playing with chicks; there was so much more. Also, there were some farm fresh fruit & vegetable stalls. All in all, the presence of livestock and fun activities made the day truly indelible!

MAKING FURRY BUDDIES

As part of the theme ‘Pet Care’,Firstcry Intellitots’ites visited a pet shop. There, they learnt about pet grooming and care. Some of them even volunteered to pet them for a while and even planned which one they want to own. Pets, indeed help to develop a sense of responsibility in children. We’re glad, our little ones made some furry friends.

Furthermore, some of our centres even paid a visit to the Animal rescue centre to teach our kids about disabled/abandoned animals.

ALL THINGS BRIGHT

Oi’ites celebrated the brightest colour in the colour palette – Yellow. The colour was reiterated by setting up displays and objects that were significantly in yellow colour. Our children had fun learning the colour in so many different ways.

ECO BAPPA MORYA

Oi’ites celebrated the festival in an eco-friendly way. They participated in making clay Ganesha’s at school and also understood the motto behind making eco-friendly Ganesha’s. A small lesson today will take them a long way!

HEALTH IS WEALTH

Monsoon brings cooler weather, sprinkles and not to forget infections! With the common monsoon illnesses making its rounds, a few of ourFirstcry Intellitots centres called for a health checkup for its students. We should teach our little ones that health always comes first!

LITERACY DAY

“Literacy is at the heart of basic education for all.” On the eve of International Literacy Day, we dedicated some reading time for our early learners. They had a good time reading books with their peers. We also had discussions on why learning to read, write, and speak is important.
