Dear Parents,

Here we are back again with some more updates about the fabulous month we’ve had with our Intellitots! A month full of activities and learning – That’s how all of us like it at Intellitots!

Let’s take a quick look at how our talented and enthusiastic kids spent the month!

Gandhi Jayanthi:

Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated in remembrance of our beloved Father of Nation – Mahatma Gandhi. The children along with their parents and teachers dressed up in white and actively participated in activities like spinning the wheel (charkha) and making spectacles during our online sessions. Our teachers presented an informative PPT highlighting Bapu’s struggles and all the sacrifices he made for the country. The online sessions concluded with Bapu’s favourite hymns, “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram” and “Vaishnavo Jan To”.

Global Handwashing Day:

The Global Handwashing Day is celebrated to motivate and mobilise people around the world to improve theihandwashing habits. Our kids were taught the importance of washing their hands at critical moments throughout the day. The campaign was dedicated to raise awareness of handwashing as a key approach to disease prevention, most importantly to prevent the spread of germs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

World Students Day:

World Student’s Day is celebrated on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. The day was declared as World Students Day by United Nations in 2010 to honour the ‘great scientist’.

Bathukamma Celebrations:

Marking the onset of Dussehra, the FirstCry centres celebrated Bathukamma with an array of flower arrangements. The festival was celebrated with limitless fun and excitement by our little ones. Other than the flower decorations, we also had music and dance as part of the celebration!

Vijaya Dashami Celebrations:

The nine-day Navratri Utsav was concluded with great enthusiasm with Disco Dandiya, a modern dance form of GarbaKeeping the festive spirit alive Dussehra celebrations took place virtually. Our tots attended the session in traditional outfits and learnt about the importance of Dussehra. They also enthusiastically participated in activities and made Elephants with Dry Leaves, Paper Ravana, Rocking Elephants, and Bows and Arrows with Twigs. The celebration concluded with a short story on Dussehra and the slaying of Mahisha Sur (Mahisha Sur Vadh) by Goddess Durga. The virtual celebration not only enriched their learning but also made it memorable for our little tots to cherish it for a long time.

Halloween Celebrations:

Then came Trick-or-Treat time! The FirstCry centres went spooky during Halloween for our tots, Parent Partners and teachers, who celebrated the day virtually. The grand celebration saw students, parents, and teachers dressed up in various costumes to celebrate the spirit of Halloween. The teachers and Parent Partners had not left any stone unturned to create spooky yet beautiful memories with their tiny tots. They also arranged for spooky décor and made food apt for Halloween. Our entire virtual session was decked up with Halloween-themed decorations! The tots got the opportunity to go trick-or-treating, enjoy candy, and dance at a Halloween party. They also made their own Paper Plate Pumpkins, Pumpkin Masks, and Wizard Hat. Our tots were so brave that they enjoyed the scary and spooky things happening with their teachers and them during the virtual session, without being scared! How cool is that! The Halloween party concluded with rewards in the form of Scary Boosters for Best Scary Costume, Best Spooky Decor, Best Scary Table Décor, etc., making the party not only fun for the tots but memorable for our Parent Partners, too!

Madam, every journey has to take a new step, and we are here, it’s a very great pleasure to greet you & and school. Here is the place where kids are moulded. With this COVID situation in the world, you took a great step and demonstrated immense patience to teach kids. Having said that, all the kids coming to school and enjoying school life is completely changed in this year but you took care of these minute things to keep the kids active and attentive. It’s easy to attend the meetings as we see it in our daily IT life but getting the attention of each one is very important, and you excelled it. We really appreciate the efforts and commitment of the teachers. A kid remembering their class teachers even after school shows a very good bond between themDeeksha being with you from last 3 years had a very good journey. Adding any number of words will not suffice. A very BIG THANK YOU! You really took care of all the concerns and handled kids with care.

We were very happy for the last 2 years that my daughter spent in the school at RMV extension branch. The kind of effort the teaching and non-teaching personnel has put in was incredible. We have seen all kinds of celebrations with superb decoration. Then in lockdown, the videos on songs and stories narrated bthe teachers were amazing. Their teaching methods are innovative. They also give personal attention. We will miss it. Thank you once again for all the learnings you hahve imparted to my daughter.

Farm Party:

We set up an Old McDonald’s Farm and conducted village-themed games and activities with live animals, pets, and birds for the kids.

The tots were called to school for one-on-one interaction with the teacher, who also introduced the farm animals. During the course of the activity, the kids also learnt the sounds the farm animals made and the kinds of shelters they live in.
