4. What is the Adult - Child ratio at FirstCry Intellitots Preschool?

We have a healthy 1:8 adult child ratio and if the no. of kids increases to approximately 12 then adult child ratio of 2:12 comes in to existence, which means for every 12 kids there is one teacher and one support staff.

Welcome to the FirstCry Intellitots Newsletter. Our little ones celebrated New Year’s Day with great excitement and fun, and welcomed another year full of new dreams!

The month of January was equally fascinating; we had some more celebrations for the tots to enjoy and learn about our culture and the country. Let’s take a look at what last month was all about for our tiny tots.

SANKRANTI CELEBRATIONS

Sankranti was celebrated virtually with great enthusiasm and energy. The tots dressed up beautifully in traditional attire for the day and enjoyed the festive decorations. They enthusiastically participated in craft activities and decorated pots, and made paper plate kites and rangolis at their homes. The tots also enjoyed a small animated video about Makar Sankranti and learned what the festival is called in different parts of India and how it is celebrated across the country.

THANK–YOU DAY CELEBRATIONS

On Thank–You Day, our little ones showed their love and gratitude by sending thank–you notes to the helpers in the community who keep everyone safe and healthy.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS

Republic Day was celebrated in the complete patriotic spirit, virtually. Our little ones dressed up in bright tri-coloured attire for the day. They took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. Teachers and children proudly recited the ‘Pledge of India’ and also sang patriotic songs. Children participated in activities and enjoyed making Indian flags, medals, and bookmarks.

Intellikit Activities:

Our little ones actively participated and enjoyed doing the activities from their Intellikits. They had fun learning about aquatic animals, different modes of transportation, etc.

Home-Schooling Activities:

As a part of the curriculum, our tots were introduced to different themes, such as Insects, Birds, Transportation, etc. Activities, such as finger painting a caterpillar, colour dabbing a butterfly, decorating butterfly wings with bindis, making the life cycle of a butterfly using clay, etc., piqued their curiosity. Other activities, such as learning alphabet and numbers through colouring and drawing, participating in fireless cooking, doing yoga, etc., also kept them engaged and entertained during their home-schooling program.
