Dear Parents,

We are happy to present the FirstCry Intellitots Newsletter for the month of February! It has been an interesting month of learning with innovative themes, such as Living & Non-Living ThingsMy Country, Staying Healthy, etc.

Let’s take a look at what our tiny tots learned this month!

Living Non-Living Things

Our tots were introduced to the theme ‘Living & Non-Living Things’, wherein they learned about living things, such as plants, human beings, animals, etc., and non-living things, such as table, chair, car, dolls, etcThealso had flower day celebrations as a part of the theme and learned about flowers through activities, such as colouring, making bangle flowers, fork painting, and making play dough flowers. The tots also enjoyed dressing up as different flowers, like the Rose, Lotus, Sunflower, etc. This fun theme provided our tots with plenty of opportunities to learn about living & non-living things.

Staying Healthy

Through this theme, our little ones were introduced to healthy habits and healthy foods. We discussed the importance of healthy habits, such as practising yoga, exercising, and eating healthy foods. The tots enjoyed fireless cooking and had a great time making and relishing fruit and vegetable salad, sandwiches, lemon juice, milkshakes, etc.

Love Iin the Air

FirstCry Intellitots also celebrated Valentine’s Day this month to understand and express love for all. The tots made cards to convey their gratitude towards their loved ones. The practice of crafting cards for dear ones is a small gesture of love. It is also something children greatly enjoy doing. After all, little things like these help us share our feelings of love and care and bring happiness into each others lives.

My FirstCryOi'ites Stories

Intellitots SuperMom_Namratha Ambati

Hi everyone, I’m Namratha, parent of Aryan Vattepu from PP-2. Firstly, I would like to congratulate Shipra ma’am for successfully conducting online classes during the pandemic. Special thanks to my son’s class teacher, Shikha ma’am, who is very dedicated and passionate about her work. I was initially afraid that my son might not show interest in online classes, but the way Shikha ma’am handled each class is very impressive and worth appreciating. My experience with FirstCry Intellitots (Formerly Oi Playschool) – Miyapur has been fantastic, and I would definitely recommend the school to others.

My kid is studying here for the last few years. I find the curriculum quite good. The teaching staff is extremely professional and ready to help whenever we require their assistance. They have provided extensive support even during this pandemic.

It’s Pyjama Time!

Pyjama party is yet another exciting activity at FirstCry IntellitotsFCI Miyapur organised pyjama party for their kids recently. Children dressed up in pyjamas and had their pillows and cosy comforters ready for a sleepover at their homeThey enjoyed participating in an array of activities. They snuggled in their tents and listened to the bedtime story their teachers read for them. The party was a good opportunity to inculcate some good bedtime and morning habits among young children.

Home-Schooling Activities:

During thhome-schooling program, our tots got to learn a lot through different theme-based activities. They gained knowledge about traffic lights/signals by making them from waste paper. They learned the primary colours and the number 9 through spray-painting, using an old toothbrush. They also learned a little bit about India and its national symbols by hand painting a peacock and other activities such as tracing numbers, writing alphabet, learning ordinal numbers during the online session. Our tots were also introduced to the colour White – the lightest colour, which stands for purity and is associated with light, goodness, innocence, and brilliance. They enjoyed this activity, too, and recognised all the things associated with the colour white.
