4. What is the Adult - Child ratio at FirstCry Intellitots Preschool?

We have a healthy 1:8 adult child ratio and if the no. of kids increases to approximately 12 then adult child ratio of 2:12 comes in to existence, which means for every 12 kids there is one teacher and one support staff.

Welcome to the Firstcry Intellitots Newsletter. Happy New Year, we hope you had a fantastic holiday! What an eventful year it’s been! Oi’ites had great fun right from winter camps to Christmas carnival and to New Year eve! Wishing that the new year brings lot more smiles in each day.

December was truly, a season of merrymaking! Oi centers organized winter camps for Firstcry Intellitots and their Non-Oi’ite buddies for maximum fun and memorable experience during the winter break. The campers embarked on the Jingle Mingle Camp which was a host of winter spirit, games, friendship & fun. This was followed by the Jingle Mingle Carnival to rejoice the year gone by and to welcome the new year with beaming smiles.

Since Avirath heard the naughty and the nice story at school, he has been trying to be extra nice so that Santa brings him a special toy. He even took out his choicest cookies to offer Santa as a token of gratitude. Loved this gesture of his and we wish he continues to be this nice all through the year.

Last month my eldest son played really well in his LCD and we praised him for being a champ and for making us proud. But it made us far prouder when he said “We all (referring to his friends) played well, momma! Avik, Samaira, Neena, Vivek, all of us are champs, isn’t it?”

Familiarizing with the Earth-friendly Colour

Brown is the colour of earth and all that is earth friendly – the wood, the clay, the mud. It is also associated with the seasons of fall and winter.Firstcry Intellitots centres introduced shades of brown to the students, reiterating earth-friendly concepts. Children enjoyed playing with sand, art& craft activities, visuals and chocolaty brown treats.

Visit to Railway

Oi’ites visited the railway station to extend their knowledge of mass transport vehicles. Here, they were exposed to formalities of boarding onto a train by purchasing tickets, learning the difference between passenger trains & goods trains and also enjoyed a short trip.
