4. What is the Adult - Child ratio at FirstCry Intellitots Preschool?

We have a healthy 1:8 adult child ratio and if the no. of kids increases to approximately 12 then adult child ratio of 2:12 comes in to existence, which means for every 12 kids there is one teacher and one support staff.

FirstCry Intellitots takes pride in celebrating all national and international events so that our children have a better understanding of different cultures along with their own, which also makes them compassionate towards other religions and cultures. This month, FirstCry Intellitots celebrated Independence Day, Janmashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi, Raksha Bandhan, and many more.

Janmashtami Celebrations

Our little ones attended the session in traditional outfits, dressed as little Kanhas and Radhas. They learnt about the importance of Janmashtami, about Lord Krishna through a small animated video presented for them during our Janmashtami Celebrations. The celebration develops a curiosity within children about Hindu mythology and its mythological characters.

Independence Day Celebrations

Independence Day at FirstCry Intellitots was celebrated with a spirit of patriotism. All our tiny tots dressed up as freedom fighters and spoke few lines about the heroes they dressed up as. They presented their patriotism by singing patriotic songs and popular freedom chants that paid tribute to our freedom fighters. They learnt about the importance of the Independence Day, about our country – India and about National symbols.

Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations

This Ganesh Chathurti, the little ones got creative and fun! They roped in their parents and made colourful clay Ganesha idols at home. The session started with a Ganesh Vandana, and simultaneously the tots learnt about Ganesha, his favourite food, why is he worshipped, and concluded the session with the Ganesha Art Activity with a little help from their parents.

Pretend & Play – Community Helpers:

Pretend play is a healthy part of every child’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. Our pre-schoolers dressed up as community helpers during their pretend play – doctors, chefs, astronauts, soldiers, teachers amongst others! Pretend play activities are always a visual delight when you have little one taking you to their imaginary world. It’s really the closest way the child can truly become their superhero.

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle:

Our children were introduced to Eco care programs like planting trees, minimal usage of plastic, the three Rs, the Go Green concept, minimal usage of natural resources like water and electricity for them to be responsible citizens as they are our future generation.

Home-schooling activities:

It was a fun time for our little ones at home. They enjoyed playing with play dough, learning healthy lifestyle habits, making paper boats, vegetable printing and playing as little chefs in the kitchen!
