Dear Parents,

Say hello to June!

After the summer vacation, we are all excited about the opening of the virtual school. Before we advance on a new journey, here’s a recap of the summer days and all the fun that our little ones had at FirstCry Intellitots Virtual Summer Camp.

A summer camp is a great opportunity to explore new things by keeping children engaged in a healthy way. But most importantly, it is the time for kids to have fun and develop a love for learning!

Through our theme-based virtual camp, our little explorers learned several fun-filled activities, such as Origami, Storytelling, Art/Craft, DIY, Dance/Yoga, Fireless Cooking, Magic with Science, etc. These activities kept our children engaged and active throughout the summer. Listening to stories was among the most cherished memories from their vacation.

This year, too, through our curriculum and extra-curricular activities, we are prepped to encourage and inspire kids to learn. With these, they can become independent and confident kids, all while having an equal share of fun!

My FirstCryOi'ites Stories

My kid, Hitesh, was attending Virtual School at FirstCry Intellitots, Kondapur, since August 2020 and it was a wonderful experience overall. The teachers were really engaging and my little one grew so much during the first two months. I could clearly find him more confident and cheerful. He would keep asking about the classes even on the days they weren’t scheduled. We cherish those memories! Thank you, FirstCry Intellitots, Kondapur Team.

When the lockdown started in 2020, I was not really sure about how learning for my child would continue as her previous school was shut down. With online classes at a very young age, I was doubtful as to how much she would understand and participate in the class, but once she joined FirstCry Intellitots school, I was surprised! She loved attending the school! I give credit to the teacher and the management for their ways of teaching the kids and keeping the classes interactive. My daughter definitely misses going to physical school but doesn’t like to miss her online school even for a day. Their summer camp program has been a fun, engaging way of learning for her during summer break. A big shout out to the teachers for making special efforts during these times to keep kids of such young age engaged.

Origami and Storytelling:

Stories, art & craft provide hours of rich and valuable early childhood experiences to develop children’s fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, creativity, and imagination. Our little ones mastered the art of being expressive through a range of Origami crafts, like making houses, fish, butterfly, etc. They also enjoyed listening to some of their favourite stories.

Art & Drawing:

The art classes encouraged our tots to use their creativity by putting thoughts/imagination on paper. The planned art activities not only aided the tots’ development but enhanced their creativity as well. They had fun doing activities, such as rock monsters, natural plant dyes, etc.

Magic with Science and DIY/Craft:

The magical experiments helped nurture kids’ curiosity and thinking. The tots got hands-on experience and learnt so much doing DIY projects, such as walking water, sink or float, etc.

The kids also tried their hand at creative projects and made pasta necklace, cup flowers, etc.

These DIY/craft activities provided our tots with a sense of achievement and allowed them to take pride in their work. This helped build confidence in them.

Fireless Cooking:

Our little ones also tried their hands on fireless cooking by making some yummy and healthy snacks. They had fun cooking and relished the delicacies made by them.

Yoga:

Yoga is a fantastic exercise, of course, and our little ones had fun by trying some quick and easy yoga asanas. Dedicating some time towards meditation and mindfulness was a soothing exercise for the kids. Yoga poses to warm up also boosted their energy and thoughts.
