4. What is the Adult - Child ratio at FirstCry Intellitots Preschool?

We have a healthy 1:8 adult child ratio and if the no. of kids increases to approximately 12 then adult child ratio of 2:12 comes in to existence, which means for every 12 kids there is one teacher and one support staff.

Provide Expectations- Children are naturally curious, active and eager to try new things, bring the excitement of their new play area.
Donâ€™t rush through the morning -Your child will get nervous seeing anxiety on your face.
Arrive fashionably early- This will give your child ample time to settle in before the real action starts. He will also get accustomed with the new faces.
Put on a happy face- This will comfort your child and give him courage to explore the new zone.
When you enter the classroom, reintroduce the teacher to your child, and then step back to allow the teacher to begin forming a bond with your child. Your endorsement of the teacher will show your child that he will be happy and safe in the teacher’s care.
Hang around but donâ€™t hover- As your child feels more secure, gradually melt to the background and let the teacher take over.
Keep Goodbye short and sweet- Do not sneak. Leaving without saying goodbye may make kids feel abandoned, whereas a long farewell scene might only serve to reinforce a child’s sense that preschool is a bad place.
